What it means to show up for your children

I was walking in the forest one day and I thought to myself “wow” this is what it’s like to feel completely open, and to let go, and breathe again. It is a privilege to be able to walk freely through the land I live near, and release. and re charge.  Kids love to release and re-charge. They do this by jumping, flipping, eating, drinking, laughing, talking, and going and going and going. They don’t know how to use the relaxed feeling to stop and take a minute.

We do, and we can show them. Their minds however, are always turning. If we show them how we can be calm, how we can re-charge, how we show up for them more relaxed, they will want to try it too.

Anxiety in children is at an all time high, as parents we want nothing more then to see their  happiness. We want their childhood to be fear, and anxiety free, and yet it weighs on them and its hard for children to understand it.

They are hanging off our every move, and word. Let us show them a way to connect into the body, by just simply using their breath or yoga….  Imagine knowing this as a kid? Who would you be today using these practises as you came into adult hood?
