4 Session Breath Coach Healing
During this private session we will dive into the feelings your child is experiencing, and a few of the reasons why they’re coming up. Once we have collected enough from the parent and child, we will then continue together with your child using the information lightly and start the re-focus.
In the 1st session will include talk therapy, where the coach and your child will form a connection, encouraging your child to express themselves freely, and help the body loosen up. Often times when a child is going into a session they can have feelings that are overwhelming, due to the unknown, we are dedicated to the understanding of their worry, and acknowledge their unique individuality.
We will use grounding techniques, and calming music, to ease your child’s way in the moment. Nothing will be forced, and if your child is not ready or interested in a technique we will practise another.
The following sessions will gently touch on the 1st session, and move forward through out the rest. We will practise how to use our breath as a tool during feelings of anxiousness. Using these tools will help create a healing journey for your child and break the cycle of anxiety and worry. Connecting their -mind to body- by using the breath. During the session it is advised for your child to dress comfortably, we will be sitting on the floor, or on pillows, and we may even lay down. Your child’s main practise will include proper expansion of the belly while breathing, alternate nostril breathing, meditation, slowing and calming the breath, regulating the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. Coaching your child through these modalities can help clear the mind, body, and re-balance the nervous system.
Throughout the 4 weeks, some experiences and feelings can differ for each child and may heighten. Some examples are: change in diet, and emotions. The over-all results thus far have positively impacted other participants quality of life, bringing back confidence in social skills, allowing a school day to flow more peacefully, substantially improving quality of sleep, and how to self regulate during a big emotion. It is your coaches main goal to get a smile back on their face, and how to deal with a worry through in-hale, ex-hale and release.
Practising these techniques into you’re daily routine can help conquer the overwhelming feelings of anxiety, and teach you how to use your beautiful energy on something that feels good. Bring these practises with you as you grow more resilient into adulthood!
